Issues You Can’t Avoid

Alyson Ward in the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram said, “Once this election is over, Americans will probably argue less and sleep more. We’ll think less about federal government and more about our families. And the wait, the eternal wait, will finally have ended.

Ms. Ward is so right, yet, there is a very real danger here. There are issues at the Federal level that we cannot afford to “think less about.” There are those both in and out of Government who are intently focused on forcing the homosexual agenda and increased access to every form of the hideous murder we call abortion deeper into the heart of American society.

I am unalterably convinced that these two issues are “Nation Destroyers.” While some in Government are trying to “hold the line,” others are using, or planning to use, every aspect of the Federal Government to remove any prohibitions to these Godless practices.

The very last thing those so inclined want you to do is to “think.” If you are a Bible believing Christian you have no choice but to think and act in accordance with the Truth of God’s revealed Word. Anything less is disobedience. If we are disobedient long enough, God will bring judgment on His Church and this Nation will reap the reward of our sin, and “the wait, the eternal wait, will finally have ended.”
