It’s Not Funny

Virginia has joined the ranks of several other States that now require an abdominal sonogram be made available to women (they may view it or not) prior to an abortion.

As always there is an outcry from various groups – Tarina Keene, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia. said the law constitutes an unprecedented invasion of women’s privacy and heavy-handed intrusion into the medical profession. (Bob Lewis, Associated Press)

What we seldom hear in the “media” are the voices of those who cry out for the “rights” of the unborn. The clear Truth that human life begins at conception seems a distant whisper when compared with the “public” outcry.

What really saddens me is that too many people get their concepts and make their choices based on the idiocy of many comedians – The original measure also was lampooned on “Saturday Night Live” and “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” (Ibid)

There is nothing “funny” about abortion or the medical measures surrounding it. Life is sacred, and God will not hold our society unaccountable for the tragedy which is the pre-meditated murder of untold numbers of human beings.
