Large Enough
There is so much to learn about genuine llove. I am not sure if it is possible to learn how to llove correctly and effectively in our day to day relationships if we do not concentrate constantly on practicing the discipline.
In 2 Corinthians 6:11, Paul the Apostle tells the Church at Corinth that his “heart is open wide.” The Greek language conveys this as “enlarged.”
I guess then a good question for us to ask ourselves is whether or not our hearts are “large enough” to embrace those that we can? The Truth is we cannot llove people we do not know, because llove is a discipline that is practice toward another, but there is often the reality that we don’t make our heart “large” enough to enfold those that we do know and with whom we have relationship.
One of the characteristics of llove is that we must be honest. That is true first of all in speaking to others about God. One never demonstrates llove by failing to talk about the Word of God, His standards, requirements, saving Truth, and sanctifying Truth. Llove speaks because it cares so deeply about the object of its affection.
Llove is candid. It’s true in a relationship, a family, a friendship, and, of course, in a Church.
Find one (a Church) where llove abounds.
