On the Matter of Giving
Our Pastor very, very rarely has a sermon about the financial operation of the Church and how people are expected to provide financial support for that operation. He is convinced that when a Church family is doing what God has designed for them, both individually and collectively, God will provide sufficient financial support to achieve whatever He (God) expects. Hence, his (our Pastor’s) work is oriented toward maturing in the faith, discovering absolute obedience, and embracing total commitment to God and His family, the Body of Christ.
There is an underlying Truth (and knowing many other Truths is wise and good) that must be KNOWN and UNDERSTOOD in the giving of financial resources. It is quite simple, and allows for full obedience.
Giving or not giving, or even “under-giving,” is not a matter of one’s financial resources (the amount of money one has). Rather, it is a matter of the heart. When the heart is right, the giving will be right. Never get hung up in the amount or calculations (e.g. If one is a tither, does one tithe on the income net or gross). Learn the simple Truth that God said, “Each person should do as he has decided in his heart — not reluctantly or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:7-8)
When the “Church” try to get around that to get more resources, it is a sad day at the Church. When a person tries to get around that by adopting a “formula,” it is a sad day in the life of that Believer.

How about ‘serializing’ the seven laws of the harvest?
