Llove Letters

With apologies to Miss Aguilera, it appears to me she joined the ranks of those public figures in public places who believe the myth  that singing the National Anthem in important venues is about the singer rather than the song. Quite often there is an attempt to “do it” in such a manner that the performance promotes the “artist” even at the expense of what is being  performed. In my humble (ha ha ha ha) opinion, National Anthem singers (aka – performers) need to be reminded that singing the Star Spangled Banner is about our inimitable Nation, our history, our llove for, and pride in, America, and our commitment to liberty and freedom.
