I could not help but notice the AP report regarding the latest fiction coming from the Capitol Building in Washington, D. C. – “Democratic leaders unveiled the bill with fanfare last week, a 1,990-page plan that sought to satisfy the concerns of both liberals and moderates while combining separate health bills passed by three different committees over the summer.” I decided to do some checking and discovered that my copy of the NIV Bible is only 1,156 pages. My favorite NKJ large print is only 2,145 pages (155 pages longer). Of course that does not include the concordance and maps. I’ve read the Bible a bit over the years, and…
