Pure Words

If those of us who are part of the Family of God were more like the Master, what a joy would be our day to day walk. Unfortunately our words are often skewed by the attitudes and feelings regarding the matter under consideration.

The words of the Lord are pure words,
like silver refined in an earthen furnace,
purified seven times.
You, Lord, will guard us;
You will protect us from this generation forever.
The wicked wander everywhere,
and what is worthless is exalted by the human race. Psalm 12:5-8

We live in a society where the prominent characteristic is wickedness from abuse of drugs to terrorism. The pursuit of wickedness seems indeed to be “everywhere.” Those things that are of no value (“worthless”) are far more exalted than Truth and Right.

By His grace, as Believers, we are protected by the highest Power. In the end, we win!!
