Reaching the Stars

Discovering wise counsel is one of the most important factors in living as God designed. For many, there are wonderful parents who assist their children in the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. It is always exciting to listen as people speak of teachers (from Kindergarten to Graduate School) who have inspired their thinking and focused their attention on learning.

Melinda Gates said this week she has treasured memories of her Dad, a contractor with NASA, as he let her share, via television, in the early accomplishments of space rocketry.

The best advice Dad ever gave me was to keep asking bold questions and looking for their answers. He knew that curiosity transforms everyday obstacles into exciting challenges to be solved — and that once you have that perspective, possibilities become limitless. You can, quite literally, aim for the stars. (MOTTO)

While many will aim for the stars, it is those who hear and understand the counsel of God that will reach the stars. The infinite Cosmos, built and sustained by our Father in Heaven will be the future of those who are His through the sacrificial death of Christ on Calvary. No wisdom or intellectual acumen will suffice for that journey which comes at the end of this life, except the Truth revealed in His Word.

Reach for the stars! Reach the stars! One is up to you. The other is up to Him who lloved us enough to provide the way. Learn it. Know it. Live it.
