Too Big
I don’t know whether the moral to this story is – don’t kill your husband, or, make sure you are strong enough to move him around after you kill him.
“A Euless woman accused of fatally shooting her husband and then surrendering to Euless police when she couldn’t push his body into a freezer last year pleaded guilty to murder. . .” (Domingo Ramirez, Ft. Worth Star-Telegram)
I guess one needs to secure a little help in advance if one can’t lift the body high enough to reach the space. I don’t mean to make light of murder, but really, hiding the body in a freezer? Sounds like a really bad movie script.
Of course, non-Believers and Believers alike are confident they can hide their sin from God. Whatever they choose as the “freezer” seems good at the time, but they soon realize that “your sin will always find you out.” (Numbers 32:23)
Better get some help. God is in the forgiveness business! 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive our sin, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” And that is much better than a freezer.
