Touchy, Feely

Talk about touchy/feely kind of people! I haven’t flown anywhere since the “enhanced” search procedures have been in effect, but I can hardly wait. Sounds like another trip to one’s local physician.

I am intrigued that our Government continues to practice this foolishness at the airport. They have finally relented in relationship to pilots. Perhpas they are actually seeing the obvious –

“A pilot intent on terrorism could simply crash the plane. No amount of imaging at the security checkpoint could stop that. Besides, under another government program to make them the last line of defense against terrorists, pilots are allowed to have guns in the cockpit.” ( DAVID KOENIG and JOAN LOWY, Associated Press – Sat Nov 20)

I will be making a trip to the NorthWest after the first of the year. I am going to skip the machine and go with the guy who may be a candidate for my “new best friend.”

One thing I never worry about is terrorism on an airplane – or anywhere else for that matter – God has complete control over my life. He has numbered my days and set my course. When He is done with me, I can go to meet Him in a plane crash, a car wreck, or just die of old age. It’s six of one and half a dozen of the other from my perspective. Until then, I’ll just play like it’s my latest “physical.”
