Watering the Lawn
If you have a beautiful lawn in Texas during the Summer, you have a well, or don’t mind spending a ton of money on water from your local provider. I don’t think I will ever understand how weeds and grass burrs can be so prolific and healthy where grass won’t grow because one is not pumping water to it day and night.
I admire (didn’t want to use the word – envy) those people who have plenty of water. . .or plenty of resources to buy water, but I will try to find some comfort in the attempt to keep my weeds below twelve inches and my grass burrs confined to this section of North Texas.
I can’t help but be reminded that God has promised us all the Living Water we can handle. His Word talks about a “wellspring” from deep within a heart that is focused, committed, obedient, and open to all that He is willing to do to and through us.
And. . .it’s FREE.
