What Did He Say?

Yesterday I was just getting into my Sunday morning nap when the Preacher quit early. Early? Early!! Then I listened as folks tried to figure out what happened. I had to go back and listen to the recording –

He said, “one of the most important things we can give as a gift to Mother is ‘time.’  Here is some of mine, and I am giving it to you.”

Well, besides being amazed (he normally goes on and on and on and . . .), I believe he has made a valid point. Too many of us pay a little attention to our Mother on “special days” and precious little or none most of the time. I, for one, can’t change that with my Mom, but perhaps you can – give her some time today, and every day if you can, and if less than every day is all you can do – at least do that.
