What Is Right?

Whether you are talking about Church, Education, Politics, Finance, or another matter, there is always a right and always a not so right, and usually a wrong. It takes intellect, wisdom, and a lot of “moxie” to always do what is right.

I don’t suppose anyone ever has – ALWAYS done what is right, except our Lord, but I do wish others (including myself) would try harder. It seems that every day a decision of one kind or another is required, and most of us seem willing to avoid the question whenever we can.

I am sure I don’t know much (intellect), and I am working on practicing the TRUTH in every circumstance (wisdom). It’s that “moxie” that is hard to come by. It is super hard to say “no” – when what everyone around you (at any given time) wants to hear is “yes.”

Politicians have that problem. Teachers have that problem. My pastor tells me he has that problem. I think the Finance guys and gals have no chance.

It is especially had to do what is right, right now. Surely we can do it later. Maybe it will get easier. Then again. . .
