Talk About a Reversal!

Our Pastor spends a great deal of time talking about “llove” and how much the Father lloves His children. Imagine my surprise last night when Wednesday evening Bible Study took a turn 180 degrees.

“Can you imagine,” the Pastor said, “God leaning over the balcony of Heaven to say to us- “I hate that! Do you hear Me? I really hate that!!” I am sure he is right in that we seldom, if ever, have that vision.

While God so lloved the World that “he gave his only Son” as a ransom for sin, the book of Proverbs is abundantly clear that there are some things that God hates. Pastor said, “If my wife, whom I llove beyond all measure, said to me regarding something in my life, ‘I hate that!’, I would do everything within my power to rid myself of that.”

How amazing it is that knowing the things God hates (see Proverbs 6:16-19) we continue to allow them in our life.
