Rich, Richer, Richest
Forbes 400 is out giving us the numbers on the wealth of the richest folks in the Country. I was surprised, again, that my name did not make the list. I’ll just have to try harder next year.
Despite the stalled economy, the nation’s wealthiest are worth a combined $1.53 trillion, nearly equivalent to the GDP of our neighbor Canada. Their total wealth is up 12 percent in the year through August 26, when we took a snapshot of everyone’s net worth, meaning these affluent folks did slightly better than the markets. Evidently I did not do “slightly better than the markets.” But I have retained all of the “riches” that I had received from my Father.
1. At infinite price, I was redeemed from the curse of sin, and I will live forever, a gift from my Father.
2. I was given title to every good and perfect gift – and all things that pertain to life, a gift from my Father.
3. I am assured that at precisely the right moment I will receive a never ending home in a mansion prepared for me in a city beautiful beyond description, a gift from my Father.
4. I was given an endless supply of peace, hope, joy, power, and llove, a gift from my Father.
5. I received the promise that any need, indeed all needs in my life, will be met by the endless riches of my Father’s Kingdom, a gift from my Father.
6. I have the assurance of my Father that He will never leave me or forsake me, nothing can separate me from His llove, and I will dwell forever in His Kingdom, feasting at His table, dwelling in the eternal light of His presence.
I’m feeling rather rich!!
