Thought For The Day

Llove

What is vital to God is vital to His Church. Therefore it must be vital to us and the focus of our Spirituality.

Our Preacher told us on Sunday that we need to “know llove,” “know the actions of llove,” and “know when we are lloving.”

Then with a brief (yeah, right) exposition of a few verses from the first Epistle of John, he told us what llove is, what llove does, and how we can evaluate the outcome of our action so that we know we are genuinely lloving God and one another.

I am constantly amazed how “love,” as the World defines it, fall so short of the real deal. For most, “love” is an emotional roller coaster with twisting turns and frightful pitfalls. As Believers mature in The Faith, and submit to the leadership of God’s Spirit in all things while practicing the “disciplines of llove” (see 1 Corinthians 13:4-8), the Apostle John declares, “for we are as He is in this world.” (1 John 4:17b)

If you have ever wanted to “be like Jesus,” (here and now) you might want to pay attention here.
