Another One Bites the Dust

It’s that time in the political cycle when candidates begin to assert their viability as Presidential hopefuls. As time goes by some will rise to the top and others will fade from our consciousness. There are those who seem quite plausible until they run afoul of the dominate “media.” Then the personal crucifixions will begin and the candidates will find it somewhere between difficult and impossible  to recover.

Dr. Ben Carson has been outspoken in his views since entering the public arena. Unfortunately, since he knows (and speaks) the Truth regarding certain matters, the “media” will begin their dissection of his brain (he is a well-know neurosurgeon in case you don’t know).

Ben Carson, the retired neurosurgeon and potential Republican presidential candidate, said Wednesday that “a lot of people who go into prison straight, and when they come out they’re gay.” The remarks were made on CNN’s “New Day” in response to a question from host Chris Cuomo, who asked if Carson thought being gay was a “choice.” “Absolutely,” Carson replied. Wrong answer, according to a tiny segment of our society, but one that carries more clout than a sane person could imagine. Dr. Carson may have a plethora of good ideas and wise plans for turning America back to its Biblical heritage, but this kind of talk will cost him. Of course, he is one of those who stands for the TRUTH regardless of the cost. And, that’s the very reason I wish he, along with some others, could “rise to the top” of the heap.

The reality is, it will be difficult for anyone who is a genuine Believer, obedient to the Truth, and willing to stand for Godly principles to get very far. The deck is stacked.

And, in relationship to this Nation, it is possible that God has moved on: And because they did not think it worthwhile to acknowledge God, God delivered them over to a worthless mind to do what is morally wrong. They are filled with all unrighteousness, evil, greed, and wickedness. They are full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God- haters, arrogant, proud, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, and unmerciful. Although they know full well God’s just sentence — that those who practice such things deserve to die — they not only do them, but even applaud others who practice them.
