Thought For The Day

300? Isn’t That A Movie

Republicans have managed to gather 300+ signatures for a “friend of the Court” amicus brief asking the SCOTUS to rule in favor of same-sex marriage.  Just as in the movie, their 300 will hold off the millions (?) of Bible believing Believers who think the SCOTUS should strike down same-sex marriage because it violates the Truth of God’s Word and move our Nation ever closer to the judgment of God – “coming soon to a town near you.”

More than 300 veteran Republican lawmakers, operatives and consultants have filed a friend of the court brief at the Supreme Court in support of same-sex marriage late Thursday. The amicus brief, organized by former Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman, was filed for the four same-sex marriage cases the Court will hear on April 28 that could legalize the unions nationwide. (TIME)

There ought to be 3,000, or 30,000, 0r 30,000,000 Believers (friends of the Scripture) approaching the Court demanding that the 1% of our National population (according to the latest census figures) be denied a right to help destroy God-given families.

Then again, maybe I am almost alone in this fight. Sometimes I feel that way. Of course if that is supposed to stop my writing and thinking, one can guess again.

“If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)

Amen. “We” get upset at ISIS tearing down ancient Cities but the same people have been busily tearing down our country for 50 years.
Is there a point that we will resist?

This is disgraceful, the silent/moral majority needs to rise up and purge, through the ballet box these so called moderates who control The party of Lincoln. Without a galvanizing Ronald Reagan type candidate, I don’t see this happening to rally the people and hold politicians accountable to our beliefs in God’s word. But hope is eternal, and I feel there are a few candidates that could do just that if we the people don’t allow the leftist press to define our candidates for us. I for one am looking for new leadership for our country and a return to the shining city on the hill! God Continue to bless our United States of America.
