Building the Kingdom

Giving lip service to “building the Kingdom” is easy and abundant. Actually working with others to do so is more rare.

The Church I attend is working hard at making that happen as we move toward sharing our facilities (for an interim period) with another Church. The practice is prevalent in other areas of the Country, but not so much around here.

Can two Churches work together in the same place with different kinds of worship and activities. My Pastor says, “Yes!” And he also says that the very actions of doing so, or attempting to do so, is proof that “who we say we are matches with what we have done.”  Translation – “we can talk about llove, but can we practice llove? Our present action is a genuine choice to llove other folks without concern about the potential problems.”  He is about as excited as one can get that our Church is “practicing what we preach.”

He’s just that way!
