Some of us down here in the woods just went through a few days, like many do all over the Country, without any electric power and sometimes water in our home and neighbourhood. Nights were dark and day were filled with excessive heat, and we were reminded that those “little” things have become precious, and/or necessary for us to be comfortable, or in some cases, survive. We were reminded that 115 degrees is a bit warm, and 60-70+ mph winds are strong, and we have become dependent on electrical power to pump our water.
