China. $350 Billion

All we need is some agreement. . .and some cash. Our Congress has a bit of struggle with agreement. Certainly it is unlike the Church of Jesus Christ, where there is never much of a struggle over anything.

World leaders (as they like to call themselves) keep saying that if we don’t fix the “climate change” problem, we will all die a horrible death – by degrees! China can fix their part with just a little help. $350 Billion. My guess is they will buy all the offending gas and store it in Tibet.

“The World Bank and others estimate the long-term climate costs for poorer nations, from 2020 or so, would likely total hundreds of billions of dollars a year. China and other developing countries say the target should be in the range of $350 billion. In addition, the developing nations want long-term financial support based on stable revenue sources, such as an aviation tax that might be the goal of future international climate talks.”  (Charles Handley at Associated Press)

We need to see this for what it is. A transfer of wealth. Of course, if we don’t give them the money they will keep gassing up the Planet (we, of course, being good world citizens will have to stop our emmissions, but that is free, I guess) and they will all die. Never mind (if the scenairo were true) that we will die too.

I have a plan. Why don’t we just take the transfer of wealth that has already been prepared for us? God’s Word is clear that he has already transferred to His children the entirety of His estate, and prepared a place for His children to live that is not a part of this planet. And you can forget about the dying part – Jesus said,“Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die–ever.” (John 11:26) Now that is a winning deal. And you know what? He’ll make the same deal with the Chinese.
