Godless Ignorance
I am never sure why we (American Citizens) tolerate fools. We even elect them to high office, and I suppose we let them conduct our National business – though in this case I am not sure this fool is capable of conducting business of any kind.
I make it a point to avoid being offended. I can normally tolerate profanity, filthy language, crude references, and toilet mouths by simply attributing such things to ignorance and a callous disregard for the people subjected to such filth. But I grow angry when my Father and my Savior are spoken of with such irreverence and contemptibility. I will print the quote here (in part) and I would not recommend your listening (which grades the quote in a deeper category of iniquitous and depraved rhetoric) to the actual comments.
Standing before a room full of LGBT activists Friday, Vice President Joe Biden registered his reaction to recent remarks by likely Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson . . .”Now, every ridiculous assertion, from Dr. Carson on. . .(the origin of homosexuality),” the vice president said exasperatedly of Carson, a retired neurosurgeon and conservative activist, “I mean — Jesus, God. I mean, oh, God. I mean, it’s kind of hard to fathom, isn’t it?” (CBS News)
Any intelligent person understands that the Vice-President is an idiot. But, I am continually offended, as a Believer and an American, by his rhetoric. It is my opinion that he should step down immediately from the Executive Branch of the United States government. A competent medical authority should probably have him committed to a mental health institution where perhaps a Chaplain could introduce him to the ONE who will hold him accountable for his blasphemy, and, given his repentance and faith in Christ Jesus our Lord, redeem him with the blood of the One he disparages in his depravity.

Since qualified people are too smart to take an elected office, we are doomed to be ruled by fools.
