No! Just No!

I asked my bride if I could purchase a $65,000,000 jet so I could travel around the World doing the incredible things that I do. She said, No! No maybe, no possibly, no next year. Just, No!

Later she calmly explained that it is not just the $65,000,000. There is the salary for the Pilots, the Flight Attendants, the A&P Mechanics, the fuel, and the peanuts (I like peanuts – honey roasted). There is the matter of all those landing fees, de-icing when I go to cold places, and plenty of those little frozen drinks when we are in the desert areas. In short, $65,000,000 is only the beginning.

So. . .I asked her if I could have a $65,000 BMW. She said, No! In short, I will be unable to do what I do ever again. I would just be too embarrassed to have to travel with all those unwashed masses of human kind that travel the World on scheduled trips. Besides, the Airlines only serve regular peanuts. And it is just too much to expect me to work around here. After all, I am sure I am “called” to the World at large.

I’m wondering if God is concerned about my “limited” ministry because my bride won’t cooperate.
