Our Ugly World

By the time you read this it is quite likely the current episode may be over. At least the part where we talk (and listen to) about the ugly things in our World. Whatever the outcome, the whole sordid mess is indicative of how our Society, indeed, our Nation has fallen from being the greatest place in the World to another where ugliness has gained an upper hand, and people are caught up in the senseless foolishness of “she said, he said,” gender war, foolish pursuits of arguments that force everyone to lose, and lawlessness brought about by ignorance and prejudice.

Lives are being ruined. Careers are being damaged or destroyed. Lies and “payback” for the sake of political expedience are the most prominent feature of our days.

We are being changed forever. . . till the Lord comes for His own. I know my grandchildren (even my children) will never know the wonderful life I lived when I was their age. It’s just sad. It’s just criminal. It’s just normal for the vast majority of Americans.

There is no where to go. There is nothing that can be done. We have abandon Truth as a people, a society, a Nation.
