The End Is Near

By the time you read this, 12:34:56pm on 7/8/9 will have come and gone and we are still here (the world did not end as predicted by some). One reason I know that is true is because you are reading this note.

There have been a lot of predictions and much speculation regarding the end of the World. The Mayan calendar is scheduled to end soon and some are saying that is the end of the age for sure. Even so-called Biblical scholars have concluded that the return of Christ had to be in some particular year or season, but so far, all of them have been wrong. That should not come as a surprise to people who have read The Book. It’s amazing that the prognosticators can sell so many books with such a foolish notion in mind.

The Truth is, no one, not even the Son of God, knows when God will bring His creation to an end as we know it. He alone knows when Heaven will be filled with all the saints gathered around the throne. Some, of course, will be going sooner than others. The World may or may not end any time soon, but your life may end at any moment. I suggest you make sure you are ready for your end to this life, and that you are properly prepared for the next.
