Watching America Die

It is not racism, or greed, or hatred, or corrupt politicians, or a one-sided slant on behalf of the “media” that will kill America. It is ignorance that signals the death knell for this “grand experiment” of which have all been part.

We cannot survive when a fraction of America’s citizens believe that “freedom” is for some of our people, but not all. We cannot survive when the answer to hatred is violence. We cannot survive if any sector of society is shut out of the due process of law and order. We cannot survive if “just” laws are implemented for some and not for others. We cannot survive if we speak but do not listen. We cannot listen if our ears are deaf. Hardened hearts and closed minds hear little or nothing at all.

This week in America has been ugly. It is not because of what we are told, or seen, or heard, rather, it is because we have embraced ignorance, ignored truth, and chosen to think unilaterally.

There is but one genuine Truth. That Truth provides a multitude of solutions to every problem suffered by America. But. . .it appears we are too ignorant to listen, see, understand. Ignorance – that is the real killer.
