Who Do You Trust?
Years ago there was a television program called, “Who Do You Trust.” I am sure that was before your time, but the question is still valid. It is difficult to trust our leadership in Washington, D. C. It is difficult to trust folks who seem to have no heart for honesty, morality, decency, and those who are predominately self-centered.
One of the questions we must ask ourselves these days is, “am I trustworthy?” The word trust can be defined as “having confidence.” Can I trust you?
Here’s a question that I think about on occasion. Can God trust me? You? Can He trust you to be obedient to the Truth you know? Can he trust you to use the talents and gifts with which He has blessed you to minister grace to those around you? Can He trust you to be faithful with the resources He has provided? Can He trust you with the life of another person?
We want to trust God. I am confident He wants to trust us.
