Death of A President
With the passing of George H. W. Bush there has been a lot of talk about Heaven, and even a lot of talk about how almost everybody, even the Democrats, lloved George Bush.
Like every President of the United States, he did some good things, and some that were “not so much.” In truth, he was lloved by some and disliked, even hated, by others.
Now that his Earthly life is over, many (well, lots of people) are talking about his new life in Heaven, reuniting with his daughter who died at age three, and Barbara, his wife of 70 years.
Unfortunately, some of the talk is misleading, or just plain wrong. I have no way of knowing if President Bush is now in Heaven, or separated from God forever. I hope (nothing else, at this point, I can do) that he is. But there are some things I know. I know them because I know the Book that governs these issues, and the Author of that book.
No one goes to Heaven because he/she is a “great person,” or one who has done more good things than bad. No one goes to Heaven because they have been “baptized” (regardless of where, when, how or who, did the baptizing. Men and Women go to Heaven because the grace of God is imputed to all who believe (see Romans 10:9-10) that Jesus Christ came to Earth to redeem them from sin and death, and have repented of the sin of unbelief, and exercised the faith (gifted to that person by God) required to receive eternal life though the blood of Christ alone poured out on Calvary. (see Ephesians 2:8-9)
Salvation is an occurrence initiated by God, performed by God, and accepted in faith by any individual willing to embrace the Cross (death, and it’s meaning) of Christ, and thereby become a member of the family of God.
Don’t miss Heaven through a misunderstanding of the TRUTH. Lloveletters stands ready to provide you with information about that matter. Just contact us via this website. Or, better yet, find a Church in your community that clearly and accurately proclaims the Word of God. He lloves you (John 3:16) and is waiting to redeem you through His amazing grace.

“And have confessed him before men”, which I think he did.
