Vaughn Walker, U.S. District Judge, according to an article on-line from Associated Press by Lisa Leff and Paul Elias, said the following after overturning a voter approved ban (California) regarding same-sex marriage:  “The evidence shows conclusively that moral and religious views form the only basis for a belief that same-sex couples are different from opposite-sex couples.” Isn’t a “moral and religious” view the underlying basis for most of our laws as a Nation?
