While I know the outcome of this Healthcare issue is vital to our Nation, let’s forget that for a moment. If our (read: United States) students are watching, and they probably are, I am embarrassed that we have reached (in my opinion) the bottom of the barrel in the operations of the Congress of the United States. Making deals, secret meetings, closed-door sessions, single political party meetings with the Executive Branch, leadership so determined to get this thing accomplished by an arbitrary date that votes are taken in the middle of the night (for whatever reason), concessions on pork support, selling one’s vote for favor. . . well, need I go on.…
