This business with the “church” in Eldorado, Texas is a mess. Children being abused, by anyone, need to be free of such abuse and cared for. Anyone who is being held captive must be set free, either by their captors or by authorities. Violations of the laws of Texas and the United States of America must be obeyed by everyone, and such violations must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.We must not forget, however, that these kinds of sensationalism from a journalistic perspective often create an environment where the truth is hard to discern.
