Jeremiah, the Old Testament Prophet who wrote the book called by his name, along with the book of Lamentations, is certainly a special person. His ministry over a period of forty-two years is a fascinating look at Judah and the coming judgment of God in the lives of its inhabitants. I can’t escape the fact, however, that we (each Believer) have a biography quite similar to that of Jeremiah, at least in the beginning.
