Partisan politics is a dangerous area to enter. No matter what one says, one will be criticized or vilified by opponents. It is mandatory, however, that our Nation and those people who comprise it, understand the meaning of words. We have long suffered in the Church of Jesus Christ by allowing “words” to mean whatever we want them to mean depending on the circumstances. That is seriously flawed behavior and ultimately leads to failure to become like our Savior.
