Llove Letters

I don’t even like the word “religion.” My dad used to say, “Religion is man seeking God. Christianity is God seeking man.” I know that is true. But, sometimes the word serves a purpose. People say, “We need to keep politics and religion separate.” That is not only not true, it is not possible. Who I am (a “Believer”) always affects my political stance. I can never, as is so obviously true this year, ignore my “faith” when choosing someone to lead our Nation. I don’t mean to say that I won’t vote for someone who does not believe as I do. I think our Constitution is an excellent document…
