Thought For The Day

Be Sure Your Sin. . .

The Scripture is clear. Your sin will find you out. We can argue most of the day and into the night about what is “sin” and what isn’t. In the end, it is the Scripture that will make the record clear. I know I should not chuckle at the foolishness of others. . .but.

In an article in the Star-Telegram by Randy Galloway, makes the following statement –How could a man who owns a 60-yard, HD-video board not understand the impact of modern technology?  Mr. Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, has been roundly condemned for opening his mouth in public with words that have (and will continue to) come back to bite him. Most have condemned his foolishness for not watching his words. I will go a bit further.

Here’s some good counsel. Watch your words – everyone else will. Stay out of bars. There’s nothing good happening in most of them most of the time. Stop drinking. Alcohol is a deceiver and the one who is captured by it is most foolish.

This is not an issue (if it is a issue) as far as I am concerned. I have never really cared much what Mr. Jones thought. . .or didn’t think. But one can learn some important things here. And the most important is that privacy is gone. If you are not alone at your house, someone is watching and listening, and probably recording it all. Stay out of bars! Stop drinking! Watch you mouth. That’s just stuff every thinking person ought to know.
