Change is Coming

When was it exactly that we believed that one could change (by which I mean pass new/abandon old) some of God’s laws, and not expect that others would change as well.

It is a short distance from legalizing homosexual marriage to the worst kinds of things you can imagine being tolerated in an environment of sexual conduct uncontrolled by the laws of God.

Here is the next step – you were expecting this would not happen?

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A federal judge ruled Friday that key parts of Utah’s polygamy laws are unconstitutional, handing a legal victory to a polygamist family. . .

What’s next? Anything and everything. If you are surprised, perhaps you have been unobservant in the past few years. The destruction of society as we have know it here in the land of freedom is well underway.  This isolated ruling is not really a “big” step, but every journey begins with one step. (Thanks  to whoever was first to say that last part.)

I am expecting to hear any day now about a woman who wants to marry her cat, or a cowboy who is convinced he should set up housekeeping with a horse.

When we turn from God, it is a turn toward – “When the Lord saw that man’s wickedness was widespread on the Earth,and that every scheme his mind thought of was nothing but evil all the time, the Lord regretted that He had made man on the Earth, and He was grieved in His heart.” Genesis 6:5-6
