Thought For The Day

Clinton & Trump

Is God about to bless America with “leadership” that will finally force the Church of Jesus Christ to pray, share their faith, and learn how to live as outcasts in a society that is overrun with a disobedience that embraces every principle of Truth?

I don’t know. And I am not sure anyone knows. I cannot, I will not believe that God has abandon America. I am certain beyond doubt that He will never forsake His children, but an argument can be made as to whether He will cease to bless this once great Nation.

Let me be clear. It is not good nor right to blame what is coming on those who seek the highest political office in the land. Nor is it acceptable to push the responsibility for our National immorality onto those who are outside the Kingdom of God. Rather, the culpability lies within the very fabric of what we call “Christianity.” If that term were ever meant to have a meaning akin to “Christ-like,” we are well removed from any association with reality.

Please don’t hear me offering to assign “blame” to anyone other than The Pastor at the Church I attend. He is the only one I know who is for sure actually culpable. He is a “nice guy,” “friendly,” even reasonably good at teaching and proclaiming Truth. . .but “Christ-like?”

Not hardly!

very difficult discussion, ultimately the culpability is to each individual, but somewhere the cumulative effect of a nation being judged does happen (is happening).

It amazes me how much our leaders (all of them seemingly) do not reflect any majority of Americans at all…

Again, difficult Discussion and Difficult times….but for those that God calls, these are exciting times (“Biblical” times).
