Thought For The Day

Ebola Crisis (WARNING – graphic language)

I am sure there is not much to worry about regarding an epidemic of Ebola here in America. Certainly there are legitimate concerns – especially regarding the 5000 U.S. troops being sent to Africa to work in the area where it is rampant.  Since Doctors, wearing full covering, are getting it, and nurses treating an Ebola patient succumbed, it seems likely that one or more of the soldiers might get sick and possibly return the virus to the United States.

Perhaps, since both nurses are now free of the virus, we are evidently  moving toward a cure and perhaps a vaccine. My concern is the people who are establishing protocol for the issue when it is among us. As I listened to an Administration official today, I was so totally shocked by what he said I almost drove off the road. I don’t know who he is, or what his position is, but he said – and I quote:

“If you see some strange mucus or feces on the floor or door, don’t eat it, or touch it, just leave it alone.”

Are you kidding me? This is part of our protocol? Who is in charge of this mess? I noticed the new Ebola Czar didn’t attend the meetings last week.

I can remember (I am really old) when people in this Country has good common sense. Leadership was wise, smart, competent, useful. Now, who knows what is happening.

God knows we need change in America. We need a return to morality, common sense, wise leadership, and the recognition that we are operating “under God,” and by His grace alone. I encourage you to start at the next election. Let change the leadership. I can’t follow idiots anymore. Get involved in your Church if you have one. Read the Bible (try Proverbs every day). If you are a Believer, pray that God will continue to “bless America.”
