Further Into The Abyss

Almost every time I peruse my “news” sources I grow more aware that the growing immorality that affects our Nation is common to a host of endeavors.

For the highest leadership (?) in our Nation to speak as is now common, leaves me with no choice but to recognize even more clearly the mistake made by America almost seven years ago.

[President] Obama scoffed at attempts to block refugees following the Paris terror attacks as “political posturing” that “needs to stop.” “Apparently they are scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America,” he said.  (Red State)

Perhaps the President of France spoke words like that in years past, though I absolutely doubt it. It would appear that some other Nation’s leaders (e.g. Germany) have this mind set as well. I never dreamed we would hear the President of the United States speak so about its citizens. Such language is the epitome of immorality. To denigrate and castigate others for their desire to protect their families, friends, culture, and Nation is base (without moral principle) at best.

As for me, I know nothing of which I am afraid that lies under the control of my Heavenly Father. But I fear greatly for my children and grandchildren in the years ahead should Christ delay His return. Enemies of America have sworn to destroy us by any and all means. The kind of immoral, foolhardy immaturity demonstrated in the quote above lends credence to the enemy’s ability to do so.
