Hot Hearts

I stumbled into the Church where I worship and thought that perhaps I had entered the wrong building. Our Preacher is not noted for using a lot of “props” (a few now and then). There on the platform, right behind the pulpit, was a huge steel I-beam. I figured I was in for a rough time as he would compare the hardness of my head to the hardness of the steel.

Then I thought he might be planning to use that old saw about taking care of the “beam in your own eye” before condemning a brother. (Just like him to overshoot his illustrative material).

But, I was wrong. Hot Hearts! Hearts (mind, will, soul) ablaze with the Spirit of God – as He “welds” the Truth to our innermost being, creating a continuously more perfect Sanctuary for the Lord God of Heaven.

I underestimated the dude.
