As our society becomes less and less focused on the moral values that have sustained our greatness, there is no question in my mind that we will see more violence – random and sadistic. Women and children are most often those who will suffer, but the reality is, women and children are also becoming more violent. Consider the teen-age boy who killed his mother and sister in Texas this week. He doesn’t know why, really. Maybe there is diminished capacity, or maybe he is just caught up in the violence of movies, TV, and video games.
