Llove Letters

I think it is important that we be informed politically, even though my taking a public stand for one candidate or the other is not germane to my subject. I was watching the Democrat Convention last evening and heard part of the speech by the Montana Governor. The Rocky Mountain News put it this way: “Sporting his Western bolo over an open-necked shirt and blazer, his big face basking in the bright lights, Schweitzer brought the crowd to its feet numerous times with punch lines – written to guarantee a partisan cheer but delivered with the aplomb of a stand-up comic.” Unfortunately, I saw a lot of comparison to modern “preaching.”…
