Too Much!

I keep listening to the candidates for President of the United States. I want to hear some Truth from one of them that will allow me to support that individual with my money and my time. I can tell you now that anyone who is a current member of Congress, or the Administration, or the Judiciary, is already suspect in my mind. Those are the folks who have presided (politically) over the demise of America.

But there is one “soon to be” candidate that has said far, far too much, in so very few words, too ever gain my support.

Vice President Biden said he’s not sure he’s emotionally ready for a run for president (sic) in 2016, during an appearance on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “I don’t think any man or woman should run for president (sic) unless, number one, they know exactly why they would want to be president (sic) and two, they can look at folks out there and say I promise you have my whole heart, my whole soul, my energy, and my passion.” (TIME, emphasis mine)

That is the promise that should be given, and lived out, in relationship to our covenant with Almighty God. The Scripture demands that Believers must, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind. (Luke 10:27)

If you are saving that for me. . .I won’t bite. It’s too much!

Our Declaration of Independence, our Constitution, our Republic, all demand a requirement for faith in God and obedience to His laws if they are to survive. Now that our Government has lost that faith, we move inextricable toward the end of the era of government “of the people, by the people and for the people.”

There is not much hope for America, and without God. . .none! We don’t need anyone in leadership who doesn’t know that. . .and live that.
