Touching

Everybody keeps “touching” everybody. At least that’s the look of it if anyone is keeping up with the current news cycle. It is nothing new, of course. We  have been hearing about it every since the “media” moved from a focus on news we need to know to exploiting salacious garbage. It’s been going on since the Garden.

Come on. . .Eden. Eden!

Who knows how much of this is real, or how much is just attention grabbing? If a crime exists, call the Police. If it’s anything else, handle it, then and there. If  you can’t handle it, find someone that can. Then move on.

Our society has come to this because we have missed the “touch” that matters. The touch of God’s hand — in our society, in our less than politic actions, in our Nation, and in the life of every individual.

As our society unravels it might be wise to recognize and anticipate all of those things that will soon be, and in many cases already are, “touching” us. It looks pretty grim.

Find a place where you can be “touched” by the Spirit of God. Go where you are “touched” by the llove of those who are His and live to llove others. Spend time in the Word of God until the Truth “touches” every aspect or your heart and mind, your soul and body.

Let God touch your innermost being with His incomparable grace!
