Victory on the Horizon

NAIROBI (AFP) – “Somali pirates attempted to storm the French navy’s 18,000 tonne flagship in the Indian Ocean after mistaking it for a cargo vessel, the French military said on Wednesday. The crew of La Somme, a 160-metre (525-foot) command vessel and fuel tanker, easily fought off the brazen night-time assault by lightly armed fighters on two lightweight skiffs and captured five pirates, a spokesman said.”

The end of the line for those five pirates is at hand. The pirates keep attacking believing they will find little resistance, and, suffice it to say, they picked the wrong ship this time.

I believe that day is coming, and it may be soon, when those who continually attack the Church of Jesus Christ, and our operation in this World, will discover that God is Sovereign, and their days will end with separation from Him forever. We (the Church) are going to lose some battles, but, as has been said so many times, we win in the end.

For those who believe the Church of Jesus Christ and His followers can be ultimately defeated, take a lesson from Somali pirates. You may find yourself approaching the wrong ship.
