Where the Money Goes

The Scripture is clear on matters regarding a Believer and his money. Unfortunately, over the 2000+ years of the “Church” many, if not most, have been led astray. Here’s the issue:

The Contra Costa Times reports Oakland-based Family Radio has sold its three largest radio stations and laid off longtime staff members. Tax records show Harold Camping’s nonprofit network saw its net assets drop to $29.2 million by the end of 2011, from a net worth of $135 million four years earlier. (Associated Press)

There may have been a few atheists, agnostics, assorted fools, and clowns sending money to Harold Camping ($135,000,000 -are you kidding me), but I am absolutely confident it was funded almost exclusively by men and women who claimed to be “believers,” who fell for the lies and yarns spun by good old Harold, but who had either no clue as to the Truth of Scripture, or chose to ignore the CLEAR Word of God regarding the end of the age ( end of time, end of the World, end of history – feel free to pick your own words). No man knows when the Rapture (Harold talked a lot about that – in ignorance) will occur, or when this World will be destroyed and replaced with a new Heaven and a new Earth. Only foolish people think they know – and only ignorant (which means: people who don’t know the TRUTH) people support such foolishness.

Put you money where the TRUTH is. If you don’t know where that is, find out. As a Believer (if your are) you have a financial responsibility in the support of the Kingdom of God, sharing the Gospel (Good News), and maturing the Saints (evangelism and discipleship). Stop wasting valuable resources on foolishness!

Of course that means a significant portion of what is on TV and radio will lose funding. Yeaaaaaaaa!
