Thought For The Day

A Couple of Questions

I often say, “there are no dumb questions, just dumb answers.” If one does not know something, how on Earth will one learn if no questions are asked. Some might say that these answers are none of my business – perhaps that is true. The answers won’t change my mind about the issue, but somehow I think we as a Nation are being misled here.

Question No. 1: What is the salary of Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood, and the altruistic Physicians who work for the organization?

Since MY money, and yours, are used to finance the business she runs, I should be able to get that information. Since she is quick to say that Planned Parenthood is not looking for profit from the sale of baby body parts, and assuming they would continue the murders even if the parts could not be sold, why are they not free for the taking?

Ms. Richards said the videos proved that the Planned Parenthood employees did nothing wrong. She noted that they repeatedly said their clinics sought no profit, which would be illegal, but only reimbursement for the expense of providing fetal tissue. “No doctor ever signed a contract with these folks,” Ms. Richards said. “They repeatedly said we don’t do this for financial gain.” (New York Times)

Question No. 2: Could I get a breakdown of the exact number of services provided by Planned Parenthood in each category? Since 90 percent of services provided have nothing to do with abortion, and therefore yield no baby body parts, that should help to clear up this matter. Perhaps we need to provide more money for these folks since, when we see the number of abortions each year, they seem to be doing more “women’s health” business than most hospitals. That would require “women’s health” to include the provision of birth control measures for teen-age girls of course.

Abortions make up less than 10 percent of Planned Parenthood’s services nationwide, she said. (IBID.)

Ms. Richards evidently thinks the latest disclosures are part of a “larger campaign”  to end this genocide in America.

“ The “video stalking,” she added, “is really part of a much larger and longer campaign to try to end access to both safe and legal abortion” and “certainly to end access to Planned Parenthood. “There hasn’t been a moment in our history, when we were pushing forward on reproductive health care rights and access for women, that someone wasn’t after us,” Ms. Richards said in an interview. (IBID.)

Could I marshal the entirety of the Church of Jesus Christ to assist in ending this slaughter of innocents, I would do so. Whoever is “after you,” Ms. Richards, has my support.
