Blame Game

As usual, Congress is doing nothing substantive in matters of great importance to the American people. Some of those folks, and perhaps the Speaker of the House of Representatives, more than anyone else, have forgotten that they are to “represent the people” and were not sent to Washington to impose their personal agenda on others. Our Constitution calls for a government “of the people!”

Associated Press quotes President Bush: “The American people are rightly frustrated by the failure of the Democratic leaders in Congress to enact commonsense solutions.”

I am convinced that is the understatement of the year. Just add the word Republican and Independent to that statement and you pretty much have it in a nutshell. . .or is that – nuthouse?

Aren’t you glad the Church does not have such issues. God has designed a perfect plan, is executing that perfect plan, and we are the recipients of that perfect plan. As has been said — Thank God He sent His Son and not a Congressional committee.
