Bummer!!

I couldn’t help but laugh. . .I mean wonder, how this looks. Stoned kids sitting in their 6th grade class with that glassy eyed, “what the heck is goin’ on” look.

Amsterdam’s mayor said Wednesday he would formally ban students from smoking marijuana at school, making the Dutch capital the first city in the Netherlands to do so.(ABC News)

Is this really where we want to go?

“It’s not really what you have in mind as an educator, that children would be turning up for class stoned, or drunk either for that matter,” she said. “But it has been a problem for some schools.” (IBID.)

Well, as we all know, kids don’t drink (alcohol), so we can assume they won’t toke up either, right?

I keep wondering how we are going to explain this to God when we get home. Maybe He won’t ask why we didn’t care more about our kids, our friends, our society.

But don’t hold your breath.
