Pray For Families. . .and Wisdom

I encourage you to pray for the families of those involved in the tragedy that took place this past week. I am not sure there is anything harder than losing one’s own children to death. First responders and other will also experience emotional trauma and can certainly use our prayer.

Pray also that we will have, as a Nation, the sense to be wise in this matter – along with so many others. Many will try to make with this issue political advancement. They will talk about “gun” control, and increased security. There will be movement to restrict the freedoms that have been and ought to be part of a free society. The banter has already begun even before we can bury the dead and comfort the hurting.

The real issue will, by the majority of society, be ignored. We are a Nation in rebellion to the will of God. We have abandon, for the most part, the Spiritual heritage of our past, and the protection of “Divine Providence” which I believe is mandatory if we are to survive as a prosperous, free, “Nation under God.”

My view will not be popular – but unless we change, and quickly, we will see greater and stronger the power of the Enemy.
